How do I secure my order?
You will receive an email with an Invoice attached. Make an EFT payment using the banking details supplied, using the Order No. as reference and send a proof of payment (POP) to My Gingiberi. As soon as we receive confirmation of your payment your items will be packaged and sent to the address supplied in your order.
How long does it take to receive my order?
If items are in stock delivery will take place 1-3 days (dependant on area) from receipt of payment in South Africa. All other countries will be confirmed by email.
How can I request a special item not listed in My Gingiberi? Can you make custom items e.g. jewellery?
At My Gingiberi, we just love to create unique pieces! If you would like a custom item designed, simply fill in our online request form and we will get back to you to discuss your exciting design and provide pricing and the waiting period.
Can you send me a catalogue of all your products?
This website is an interactive catalogue. All our products are available online and removed once sold out. Because our range of products is constantly changing and growing we do not print or maintain a catalogue. Browse through the categories to gain an insight into our passion.
Does My Gingiberi sell to the public and is there a minimum order value?
This is a retail online store which means it is aimed at the general public. There is no minimum order quantity so you are free to order for any quantity or amount that you are comfortable with.
Do I need to have an account to shop on this website?
No account is needed to shop on this website. We do recommend signing up for an account as your delivery details will be stored and you will also be able to benefit from our special offers and get notified of new items and vendors. There are no costs when you open your account.
Can I pay COD or when I collect an order?
Unfortunately, we do not offer this service. All orders are sent out 1 to 2 working days after the proof of payment has been received. My Gingiberi is an online store only and we do not have a shop or showroom where you can view stock.
Do I have to be at home to receive the parcel?
Depending on the shipping method you select, you will have to be at the address given or provide the details (name and cell phone number) of an alternative person who will accept the parcel. Courier companies require a signature as proof of delivery and usually deliver during the week during work hours so please provide us with an appropriate delivery address.
An item arrived broken or damaged – what can I do?
My Gingiberi takes special care to package your order to protect it from damage. Damaged products are never sent out to a client so if you have any problems with products once they are delivered to you, please contact us immediately. See Contact Us for details.
Am I guaranteed to receive the order I place on the website?
Products are subject to stock availability. We try to keep the website as updated as possible but because we also receive orders via social media, some stock levels may not be updated at the time of the order. . Items that are out of stock automatically are placed on back order. We will contact you to let you know when the item will be in stock again.
How do I know this website is not a scam?
If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us before placing an order and we will try to set your mind at ease as far as possible. We pride ourselves in product quality and customer care and we are very easy to get in touch with - reviews on our Facebook page reflect this.
